Steps for Providers to Take Before Next PBJ Reporting

AHCA/NCAL in a new blog post at PBJ Reporting: Key Steps Ahead of the November 14 Deadline said there are important steps for providers to take before the next Payroll-Based Journal (PBJ) reporting deadline.

Providers must submit data for Fiscal Quarter 4 (July 1–Sept. 30, 2026) by Nov.14, at 11:59 p.m. ET. 

“All PBJ submissions and reports are now managed through iQIES. Providers are strongly encouraged to submit early to allow time to review validation reports, correct errors, and resubmit files before the deadline,” the post said. 

AHCA/NCAL said at a minimum, providers should “verify that all reportable hours are included, including Medical Director and contracted hours, consistent with CMS reporting requirements” and “review validation reports for errors or warnings.”
